Chief Chris Noeller
Chief Chris Noeller, Chief of Police for the Pueblo Police Department

As the Chief of Police, Chief Noeller leads more than 300 sworn and civilian staff in advancing community-focused, technology-enabled policing. With over 30 years in law enforcement, he has served in a wide range of roles including DEA Task Force Officer, SWAT Team Leader, and Deputy Chief of Operations. Since becoming Chief in 2021, he has led initiatives to strengthen community trust, modernize operations, and implement tools like the department’s UAV program.

In addition to his role as Chief, Noeller serves as Deputy Mayor of Pueblo and 1st Vice President of the Colorado Association of Chiefs of Police. He holds a master’s degree in criminal justice from Boston University, a bachelor’s in leadership from American Military University, and is a U.S. Navy Reserve veteran. He is also a graduate of the FBI’s Executive and Command Leadership Institutes and IACP’s Leadership in Policing Organizations.
