Efficient patrol strategies are crucial to managing scarce police resources and improving community trust. However, the policing industry has recently been dealt a trifecta of challenging complications including widespread retention and recruitment issues, community pressure for police accountability and non-enforcement tactics, in addition to budget shortfalls.
Many agencies are seeking ways to maximize their workforces to effectively protect the community while shedding the misconception of over-policing. As a result, there is high agency demand for tools that improve patrol efficiency and real-time patrol visibility to prevent burnout and deter crime.
Access this webinar to hear how Wilmington PD, recently featured in Forbes Magazine, incorporates ShotSpotter Connect™ as part of its innovative patrol strategy to prevent crime and engage the community. Amanda Woods of Becker and Poliakoff also shares funding opportunities that agencies can take advantage of in 2021.
