• $185 million in new grant funding to support law enforcement and community safety.

• Local Law Enforcement Program provides resources for IT, equipment, recruitment, and training.

• Gun Violence Investigation & Prosecution Program provides district attorneys’ offices and law enforcement agencies with funding for multi-agency gun violence task forces, personel, software and technology.

• Goal of this funding is to improve investigations, increase clearance rates, enhance firearm tracing programs, and prosecute crime involving firearms.

• Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) is facilitating both grants.
