WHAT IS THE VIP GRANT?
The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) will make $40M available for Violence Intervention and Prevention (VIP) efforts targeting community violence in high-crime areas of the Commonwealth. The funds will support local initiatives addressing gun and group violence, emphasizing both short- and long-term interventions.
Eligible applicants include:
- Community-based organizations
- Higher education institutions
- City and county municipalities
- District attorneys
