After nearly 27 years in federal law enforcement, Tom joined SoundThinking where he leads a team supporting the use of the company's data and solutions in investigations and litigation. A licensed attorney, Tom retired from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) as a Senior Executive Service member, serving his final year as Chief Operating Officer.

Dave Hatten, RTCI Program Manager - AH Datalytic
Dave is the Real-time Crime Index (RTCI) Program Manager. He is an expert evaluator of place-based policing strategies and the use of spatial analysis in the field of criminal justice. Prior to joining AH Datalytics, Dave worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Boston Area Research Initiative (BARI) at Northeastern University, conducting research at the intersection of crime, geography, and public health.
